A clearer picture
A simpler start to finding your broker
A few details can make the first conversation more useful. Start with what you know; you do not need to arrive with a loan product already chosen.
1. Tell us about your situation
Choose the main task, such as buying, refinancing or building, and the state or territory of the property. The questions adapt to those answers. You can share rough figures, income context and what matters in a working relationship.
No account numbers, identity documents or detailed expense schedules are needed. For multiple applicants, share your income separately from the other applicants’ combined income. Use “Not sure yet” when someone else’s information is not available. Choose an uncertainty or no-preference answer where it applies.
2. Explore participating brokers who fit
We check relevant coverage and essential requirements, then compare the participating brokers’ declared work preferences with your situation. Availability determines whether a suggestion can progress. We explain relevant fit factors and identify details that need confirmation.
Results cover our participating network. They are not a search of every Australian broker, a list of suitable loans or a borrowing-capacity assessment. If there is no available compatible suggestion, we will say so.
3. Prepare for a conversation
Review the public profiles and your saved situation summary. You remain in control of the next step. Viewing a profile does not reserve an appointment or submit a loan application.
Your summary stays private in your account. Selecting a broker saves your choice without sending your information or committing you to a service.
